LJM Moving to Japan!

You've probably already noticed that recently I've slowed down with posting on Little Japan Mama, so I'd better tell you what's going on...☆
During the month of March we'll be moving to Kawasaki (next to Tokyo, Japan) so we will be very busy preparing, moving out of our home in Australia and moving to our new home in Japan.  Until then, I'm very sorry but I may or may not be posting on Little Japan Mama.
**However, feel free to comment or ask questions, as I will continue to reply during this time**
When I get back on, I'll have lots of new information to share about the experience (renting apartments, earthquakes, mobile phones, internet etc) and I'm also looking forward to more Japanese cooking, in a place where I can get all the ingredients I want cheaply and easily!
So, from April 1, 2012, Yoroshiku!  ♪

    1. Thanks Sherri☆ Australia is a great place to live, and great for families. We will miss the beautiful beaches, relaxed atmosphere, spaciousness, but especially our friends!

  2. This is great news, good luck with moving. I understand how to feel, I studied in Australia back in college and I missed everything too! Luckily, I still keep in contact with my friends. But since you don't live too far from Australia visits will be easy :) I hope to see your new exciting recipes soon!

  3. Just thought I better comment to say that I am trying your Yoshinoya style Gyudon tonight for dinner. I have made gyudon before but can`t remember what recipe I used and my husband {Japanese} always says that it is probably cheaper and easier to buy gyudon out so I don`t bother making it at home much but beef was cheap this week :D

I came here by googling gyudon recipe- Best of luck with your move to Kawasaki. It is nice out that way. I am in Chiba {Ichikawa-shi} raising my boys and building a house here currently.

    1. That's awesome Lulu! I used to think the same (that Yoshinoya/Sukiya Gyudon is easier to buy) but now I know that it's super-easy to make too! Nice to hear from you~♡
